Love the door bell, wish the app would open to the video of the default door bell. Seems to be to many steps to answer the door. Hope they are working on a Watch OS2 app. That would be to cool.

My SkyBell works fine using IOS 8 but no audio to the door speaker when using IOS 9. It makes it somewhat useless when you cant talk to the person outside your door. You can hear them, but they cant hear you, so what are they going to say when they dont even know anyones listening.

Latest update has ruined the functionality. I can no longer speak to the person at my door and the audio is horrible. This company takes forever to update the app.

Usually the sky bell app doesnt connect in time to see who is there. Its very slow to get video. The sounds is so muffled its useless to hear what the person at the door is saying. If you are considering buying this product... Dont. Its a piece of crap.

Well I got my blue bag finally that was not included in my original purchase / we installed the SkyBell, was pretty easy but it did take a while to get it to work on the iPhone / the video is good but the voice when speaking isnt always loud enough, something they need to work on / also when I try to open the app to answer the door it doesnt open or opens then closes / I have to retry again then it works OK / over all when it works correctly it is great !! Im hoping the creators will work out the annoying bugs & increase the volume / over all I would still purchase it over others.

I really wish this worked better. Many issues along the way cant rely on notifications. Often get rings minutes after button push (and no option sensor is not on). Not quite ready for prime time. Wasted my money on this.

When I first got my SkyBell doorbell I was really excited. It actually worked. But that was short-lived. With updates to the app now I have no audio. In addition, on the one time I did have audio, it froze. So I can do now is use the doorbell for a visual of what is going on outside but there is no other functionality. So I spent $200 for something I cant use. When is SkyBell going to provide a new app update that fixes the audio bugs on an iPhone 6? Soooo disappointing. For anyone considering this product wait until it is fixed or purchase someone elses with better reviews.

Terrible software & hardware that almost never connects to the device when youre away and someone rings the bell. The company promised a auto recording feature that they never delivered. Too bad I have this product for a year so I cant return it.

The audio issue doesnt seem to be fixed and notification is always delayed. That defeats the purpose of having a smart doorbell.

I loved the idea of skybell but when somebody rings the doorbell there is no notification. You have to have the video on in order to see anything, the software needs to be upgraded otherwise its a waste of money.

Edit: Now works with iOS 9, but notifications show up 20 minutes after someone rings your doorbell. Do you really want to keep calling tech support for your doorbell? How much time to you want to waste trying to get your doorbell to work? When your doorbell doesnt work, do you want your visitors to leave thinking youre not home? Depending on how you answer those questions, Skybell may be perfect for you.

Since iOS9 its had problems, it got better but now there is significant delay from button push to phone. Mine is 3-5 minutes!?!?!?

App sometimes logs out so every time you want to view your door you have to sign in which is a pain. Also doesnt work like the see less video portrays, it might one day with updates but needs work. Mounting was easy make sure you test your wifi at your doorbell. Download a wifi analyzer if needed it only works on 2.4ghz so test that band. Also poor ISO make sure you have great lighting after sun down. I have the latest version and I will be mounting a motion light to make sure images are clear.

Works 5% of the time. Terrible company.

Worked great when I first purchased. Now, there is a regular delay of up to 3 minutes after the doorbell rings before it comes through my phone or iPad. Obviously, whoever was at my door has long left by that time. Additionally, audio does not work at all on my iPad Air 2. On a few occasions, a loud squelch comes through and have to reset my iPad to get audio to work in other apps after. Very expensive product to not have addressed this with their customers yet.

Used to work fine and now it stopped notifying me. Sometimes I get notifications hours later.

Do yourself and explore alternatives. 1) Spotty performance. Thrilled when it works as designed, but is is so rare. Support will give you 1,000 critical requirements for the environment, and insist your environment isnt right. Plausible, but that is the MO for everyone. I have gone to great lengths to ensure all criteria has been met - but - spotty at best. 2) Specific Frequent Issues Doorbell rings on your iPhone 3 minutes later. Yes, network performance and phone etc are in peak conditions. Missing audio. Support will run you through all the same old same old ... speed tests... you name it and treat you like the hardware is fine and the issue is with your environment. 3) Draconian Support Support treats their customers as if everyone is out to cheat them....as if counterfeits flooded the market and they were overwhelmed and cheated. You are treated guilty until proven innocent. Your proof will be scrutinized and doubted. 4) App Interface App interface takes clicks to launch video. No shortcuts. Lot of numbers to register and manage for getting the device connected. 5) Bright Branding Skybell insists on bright branding. Neon lights at night if green (or red) with no option to disable. Not something that looks good, and draws too much attention. If you live in an association, expect HOA complaints.
