SkyBell Classic App Reviews

I love the app and the SkyBell, I was reading some reviews on it and noticed the ppl who had problems with it were people who claimed to be "experts, engineers, and technicians" but they mustve been lying because I am not tech savvy what so ever and have installed 10 of these in 10 different houses for my family members and it was a piece of cake, I just read like a normal person and do my research before getting a new technology gadget, do your research people stop being knuckle heads

I should have read the review before purchasing this. We cant set this up. We have called support twice and the guy seemed much more interested in talking than listening. We cant get it synced therefore we will be sending this POS back!

The app works when there is no one at the door and you initiate live feed yourself. When someone does ring the door bell though and you get your push notification the app live feed freezes and it takes about 2 minutes for it go back to normal. By that time the person is gone. The audio lag is around 3-5 seconds so thats not the best either. Was a backer when this came out and while I wanted this to succeed with the app not working Ill be going back to a traditional doorbell.

Please fix this. I paid good money for this to work. Hold to speak doesnt produce audio on the skybell itself with the iPhone 6s. This has been confirmed by Skybells support.

I bought the skybell and as soon as I upgraded my iPhone to iPhone 6s Plus. The doorbell quit working. The tech support has no clue of how to fix it. Spoke to 5 different technicians through email for 3 months and all of the are clueless of how to fix it.

So now the app works again on IOS9 but now when I click the button to talk the app locks up. Every single time .. This is with both someone ringing the bell or me manually initiating the video. I would call this product a flop at this point I have put up with it for so long and its just broke. Time to find something different.

Rubish customer support, since last update, no sound on IOS and skybell doesnt do anything to fix the bug.

I have loved my skybell until I got a new phone last month. This talk issue with the 6S has been open since February and notes on the zen desk site. When are you going to fix it. Now the skybell is a $200 paper weight. This is not right and I feel like I have been scammed. Get it right people and hurry up already.

Two years later and they still wont respond to my warranty replacement. Its just sitting there on the front of my house doing nothing. Cant tell if thats the app or equipment - but they claimed it wasnt the equipment (so they wouldnt have to replace it). What a huge waste. If anyone else is interested in a class action claim; Im in!

After 2 months of not working an update finally restored normal operation for my 6s Plus

Not sure what these other idiot reviewer are doing. My app works just fine and the install took about 10 minutes. You people should try READING the instructions first before trying to install. *Update* Newest version fixes my iPhone6s speaking issue and the static noise! Works awesome.

After updating on April 1,2016 there are still video problems with the skybell app. I was hoping more than just the audio would be fixed in this update. After the Jan 17 update the video is washed out, as if someone turned up the contrast on the video. Skybell was aware of this issue after the last update and still has yet to be resolved. It has been close to 3 months without a resolution.

iPhone 6s still doesnt work with the new update.

Can not connect to it after the latest IOS update today - anyone has the same problem ?

Skybell 2.0 was not only easy to install, but also easy to sync to my home wifi network. Clarity of pics/video streamed to my device is better than I expected. Would recommend Skybell to anyone looking for exterior door video access!

Still buggy! When answer to call from notification no audio both way. Thats a joke! Developer ho make this app should be embarrassing because he dont know what how to make app!

It works pretty well and stable now!
